Sandy, Seth und Ryan reisen nach Miami, um Nana zu besuchen - nachdem sie Sandy erzählt hat, dass sie heiraten wird. Kirsten kann nicht mit, weil sie arbeiten muss. Allein zu Hause, hat sie viel Zeit über ihre Gefühle gegenüber Carter nachzudenken. Trey sieht mehr in der Freundschaft zu Marissa als sie. Zach lädt Summer zum Essen ein - und kocht selbst.

Besonderheit
Calbe und Julie kommen in dieser Folge nicht vor. Es ist Bill Campbells letzter O.C.-Auftritt. Bret Harrison (Swerve) trat bereits in der ersten Staffel (Episode 17 - Rivalen) als Summers großer Freund Danny auf. Der Großteil der Episode spielt in Miami Beach, u.a. im Fontainebleau Hilton Resort.

Episode 2.21: The Return of the Nana
Airdate: April 2005

03/06 - Trey has an event to celebrate (not clear what, could be a job?) and he and Marissa plan to party that night. Seth and Ryan are in Miami. Seth takes part in a Shuffleboard competition. One girl, who is in Miami to visit her grand-mother, asks Seth to be her dance partner in a dance contest held by Music Video Nation for Spring Break. Ryan tries to convince Seth of not participating as the contest will be on TV and Summer may see it. Seth decides to take part in the contest anyway, but will he back out when he sees that there is more than dancing involved in this contest? Sandy is also in Miami to visit his mother. The Nana introduces her son to someone very dear to her heart! Kirsten invites Carter for dinner at the Cohens' house... but the boys and Sandy are not in attendance.

12/16 - For spring break, the gang will visit Nana (Linda Lavin) at her retirement community in Florida. "Insanity will ensue for the kids," Schwartz says.

07/24 - [Josh] Schwartz said now the Nana (Linda Lavin), who appeared in one episode last season to inform Sandy that she had cancer, will be back. "She was great," said Schwartz. "The Nana really popped for people. And so, therefore, I think it's safe to say the chemo is working."

[The One]

OMG diese Folge wird echt einiges aufschütteln. Am Ende des Trailers gab es diesen schnell zusammenschnitt, den man normal gar nicht einzeln sieht.

Erst sieht man kurz wie Summer Zach mit einem Kissen ?! hat und dann Summer küsst Zach :-?
Trey und Marissa küssen sich auch innig im liegen ... oder ist das Ryan...wobei der ja in Miami sein müsste.
Ryan schreiend am Strand ?!

OMG.....da bin ich mal gespannt auch wenn das wieder so vorhersehbare sachen sind

Also ich finde ja das sieht eher aus wie Ryan der mit Marissa auf dem Bett liegt #hm# Aufgrund der Haarfarbe und der Haarlänge jedenfalls.

Also der Trailer war wirklich vielversprechend. Summer die Seth noch sieht wie er Sahne oder so von einem Mädel runterleckt #8o#

Also ich bin wirklich sehr sehr gespannt. Evil Zach soll bloß die Finger von Summre lassen der geht mir total auf den Zeiger #motz#

[The One]

Man soll Summer und Zach einfach zusammen kommen lassen im Season Finale.. Damit könnte man eine vernünftige Basis schaffen für die nächste Staffel. Wenn die Sache nämlich jetzt zwischen Summer und Seth durch ist, wird sie nicht nochmal aufkeimen. So könnte man in der dritten Staffel wieder neue Charakte und auch eine neue Frau für Seth herholen.

Summer und Seth sind grossartig aber nur wenn sie nicht zusammen sind ^^

hab hier mal was vom tvtome forum um alle unstimmigkeiten aus dem weg zu räumen! ist aber auf englisch! ;)



Fox's preview of Episode 21 and the season finale seems to have as much drama as the episodes themselves. . so let's break down the slow motion:

#1 -Marissa paying a visit to a shirtless Trey, and Jess's voice over (pretty obvious to Trey) "You, and Marissa Cooper?"

#2 -Jess's top dropping, she's at Trey's apartment.

#3 -Marissa kissing Ryan (in Marissa's bedroom.)

#4 - Summer punching Zach with boxing gloves on. This is not what I hoped it was. In the CTV preview we see Summer apologizing, and we also see that she did because Zach arrives just in a bad time, not because Zach did something wrong. This probably happened after she watched Seth on "MVN Spring Break '05", because really looks really mad when punching the sandbag. (MVN stands for Music Video Nation)

#5 - Kirsten smiling at Carter. Probably from the "'I can't lie to you'-'I know the feeling'" scene in the same preview.

#6 - Ryan running desperately. There are t-shirts on the wall. Very Bait Shop, what do you think? Someone's bedroom, doesn't look like it.

#7 - Summer kissing Zach at the Bait Shop. (lighting equipment above)

#8 - Marissa laying on what does seem to be sand. She's being hugged or lifted by someone.

#9 - Ryan looking back. Where is he? It made me go back to "The Distance" looks very Chino, but nah, we see plants, and sort of balcony.

#10 - Sandy talking to the Nana's fiancee.

#11 - And of course, Ryan kneeling on the sand, and srcreaaaaaming!

Soweit ich weiss is die heutige Folge ausgefallen aufgrund einer Konferenz von Bush. Viele Sender haben wohl ihre Shows gecancelt #cry# Och man #cry#

Toll!!!! Nur wegen dem dummen Bush müssen wir noch eine Woche auf die neue OC FOlge warte... das gibts doch nicht #motz# #motz# #motz# und dabei war der um 8 fertig mit labern und die hätten ruhig The OC zeigen können, haben aber nen rerun von King of Hill und den Simpsons gezeigt.... *argh* #motz# #motz#

In Kanada wurde die Folge dennoch gezeigt das heisst: Durchstöber das Netz und du musst nicht eine Woche warten.

Die Folge soll wirklich krass sein soweit ich gehört habe bis jetzt. In 2 Stunden hab ich sie :D
