Nachdem der US-Amerikanische Sender NBC an der Serie 'Ghost Angeles' nicht interessiert war und somit keine Pilotfolge verlangt hat.
Produziert Josh Schwartz (OC,Chuck+Gossip Girl) mit Stephanie Savage dank der Prdouduktionsfirma 'Fake Empire' die die zwei zusammen gegründet haben jetzt eine neue Serie mit dem Namen 'Heart of Dixie' , wo Rachel erneut die Hauptrolle übernehmen soll und eine New Yorker Chirurgin die in einer Kleinstadt in Alabama eine Praxis für Allgemeinmedizin erbt spielen soll. Die junge Frau, welcher der höfliche Umgang mit ihren Patienten oftmals schwerfällt, trifft dort auf die für „Kleinstadt-Serien“ typischen skurrilen Bewohner.

Ich freu mich für Rachel und für Josh, aber ich fragm ich schon auch, ob noch so 'ne Krankenhaussendung überhaupt gebraucht wird bzw ob Rachel in die Rolle wirklich passt..

ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher..kann auch sein, das es Hart of Dixie anstatt Heart of Dixie heißt..
